The shared onsen provided a relaxing end to our busy days, and I enjoyed borrowing unique amenities like the coffee grinder from the common area.

short distance from train station, access to main city bus lines, free amenities like washer/dryer
Hallway carpets on the 4th floor require cleaning!!! It’s quite inconvenient to use the laundry facilities unless you're an early riser!!! The coin system for purchases at the cafe adds unnecessary hassle!!!

perfect base for exploring kyoto's must-see spots
During my stay, I was thrilled to find it just a short 8-minute walk from the main JR station and a quick 5-minute stroll to stunning attractions like the Kyoto Tower and the tranquility of To-ji Temple. the convenience made my weekend exploring so effortless and enjoyable, especially with great coffee available in the cozy lounge area every day. The small double room was well laid out and provided a comfortable retreat after busy days wandering through the city, but I did notice that the communal facilities could benefit from a bit more cleaning attention.

The cozy common area had a nice vibe with free tea and coffee, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The public bath was clean and well-maintained, an excellent option to unwind.
The hallway carpets on the fourth floor could really use a cleaning. The lack of privacy in the showers was a bit uncomfortable, especially with no locks, and the small beds lacked quality in comfort—definitely not the best pillows or duvet. Plus, the laundry facilities can be a hassle. if you miss the morning rush for the dryer, don't expect any free machines.

Perfect for couples seeking comfort
You know, the room was small but super comfortable, very clean too! And I gotta say, they had an awesome communal shower area with plenty of products to choose from, just made everything easier.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable for the quality.

The shared spaces were clean, and the
location was perfect for accessing public transport. While the room was small and had limited airflow, the lounge area made up for it with a cozy vibe. I really appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee offerings.

Free laundry machines were a helpful touch.
I arrived at the hotel only to find the front desk closed and unable to enter. I had a hard time as my flight cancellation left me without food options, and the staff showed no kindness. Also, the room was very cramped and lacked basic amenities like a private shower and toilet, which was disappointing for the price I paid.
